About Xiaomeng Li
I received my Ph.D in Geography at Michigan State University. My research interest lies in urban transportation, urban networks and quantitative modeling.
My current research focuses on daily travel behavior. My research goal is to provide a deeper understanding of urban travel in distressed urban regions and assist in the achievement of efficiency and social equity. I have also been working on urban networks at inter-city and intra-city levels.
I am specifically interested in the applications of statistics, spatial modeling, social network analysis, and machine learning in solving problems and discovering underlying patterns of cities.
